Soul Body Mind · Colin F. Watson

Most People Only Go to God When Something Is on Fire.

What if you started going to Him before anything starts burning?

For the last 8 years, I've started my mornings by writing a 3-page letter to God — before my wife wakes up, before the dogs need anything, before the first email, before the first client, before the world remembers I exist.

Those three pages helped me rebuild my body, my marriage, my finances, my peace, and my relationship with God.

The Sacred Silence

That silence before the world needs you is sacred.

There is a silence in the early morning unlike any other silence.

Nobody needs you yet.

Nobody is asking.

No requests.

No questions.

No judgment.

Just you.

With yourself.

With God.

If you're someone who carries a lot…
if people depend on you…
if your phone starts ringing the moment the day begins…

that silence is not a luxury.

That silence may be the most important appointment of your entire day.

The Framework

The 3 Pages That Changed Everything

Three pages. Every morning. Before the noise.

Page One

Gratitude

Not a list.

A real, honest conversation about what you actually have when you're quiet enough to see it.

You write until you feel it.

Not until the page is full.

The page fills itself when you're telling the truth.

Page Two

Give-Ups

This is where you give God everything you're carrying that was never yours to carry.

The doubt.

The worry.

The resentment you keep picking back up after you said you let it go.

The voice in your head that lies and tells you you're not enough.

The fear you've been pretending isn't there.

You write it down.

You name it.

And you hand it over.

This is where your nervous system gets to exhale.

Page Three

Co-Create

This is where you dream like a five-year-old.

No filter.

No "be realistic."

You write what you and God are building together.

Not what you're begging for.

Not what you're chasing.

What you're co-creating.

911 vs 411

Stop only going to God in 911.

Most people go to God in 911.

Desperate.

Everything on fire.

Begging for a rescue.

And God answers.
He always answers.

But imagine going to God in 411.

With an open heart.

Listening for the downloads.

Every morning.

Before the noise starts.

Not desperate.

Just present.

Not begging.

Just listening.

What is He trying to download to you that you keep missing because you're already checked out by the time you think of Him?

Eight Years Ago

Eight years ago, I heard Him clearly.

Eight years ago, God spoke to me and said:

"I will heal your body.
I will heal your marriage.
I will heal your finances."

— What He said

I remember breaking into tears.

For the first time, I felt seen.

I felt like I mattered.

I felt like I wasn't alone.

That was 911.

But now I come to Him every morning in the silence — before my wife wakes up, before the dogs stir, before the world starts asking — and I just show up.

Present.

Grateful.

Ready to receive whatever He has for me that day.

Everything I have traces back to that table.
That silence.
Those three pages.
